The Supreme Court of Justice ordered this Friday that the designated representative of the Senate in the Judiciary Council, Luis Juez, will be sworn in next Monday , after the conflict of powers that kept the body with one less member for more than a year due to a maneuver of former vice president Cristina Kirchner. In this way, the forces opposing Kirchnerism will have a majority over the total of 20 members of the body that proposes, sanctions and dismisses judges. Judge, senator of the PRO, publicly and judicially claimed fourth place in the Council for the Senate, after Cristina, in a ruse, divided the Citizen Unity bloc of the Frente de Todos and claimed that place for Martín Doñate from Rio Negro.
The Court considered the maneuver illegal and Europe Mobile Number List refused to swear in Doñate, despite the insistence on the candidacy of the majority of the senators. The conflict over representation in the Judiciary Council was precisely one of the reasons why President Alberto Fernández and the governors promoted the impeachment of the members of the Supreme Court, in line with the former president's judicial strategy. Despite K's questioning, the Court defined last Thursday, in a thirteen-page ruling, that Judge should join as the fourth representative of the Senate, representing the second minority.
The Judge's claim was rejected by Judge K in Federal Administrative Litigation, in the first instance because he considered that the formation of the blocks was not a "judicializable" matter and then because the Court had taken the case. Once the discussion in the Court was settled, this Monday Vice President Victoria Villarruel signed the parliamentary decree that authorizes the president of the Court, also president of the Council, Horacio Rosatti to take the oath of office of the Córdoba legislator. The swearing-in will take place at noon, expectedly in the Bermejo Hall of the Palace of Cortes, and thus the integration of twenty members of the Judiciary Council will finally be formed, after the Court declared unconstitutional, in December , its formation of thirteen advisors approved by Kirchnerism.
